Hello

Hello everyone, It's here and I'm loving every minute of it. Someone gave me a lot of Tiger Lillies so I planted them, I dug up Black-eyed Susans and planted some behind the mailbox. The big question is, "where are we going to plant the garden?" Does anybody have a problem with wild strawberries? I have them everywhere! I can't seem to get rid of them so I'll just keep on yanking.

The chickens are growing and the ducks are HUGE now. We have some pictures of them but like I said, I haven't downloaded them yet....in fact I can't find the wire it requires to download them.....it seems I've misplaced (or thrown them away) I hope not.

Speaking of pictures I spent a couple of hours with Kylee last Fri. We had so much fun. She's talking more, so it makes communicating with her easier. A few times in the past she didn't recognize me but this time she did and we a great time....Oh, what a Blessing that little girl is. I'll be going now and getting back to digging in the dirt.

Oh, How Blessed Am I

My family gave me the best birthday ever. Everyone kept asking me what I wanted but I knew it was too expensive. Then it hit me!! Game Night! The look on their faces was precious. This isn't what they expected at all. You should have seen it. All jaws dropped, heads down and eyes wide open. What!? You're kidding, right? They didn't like it at all.





Andrea said, "That's not a present!" I told that that's what I wanted and it's cheap. Josh said that he liked to play games and he was all for it. He asked me what we should play and I said, Canasta! I love this game.

After everyone got the hang of canasta we had lots of fun. We laughed sometimes until we cried and then laughed some more....What a good time.

Some Flowers From 2008

These are some of my flowers from last year. Yes, I'm feeling the itch.

In the past I've started many of them from seed. But it doesn't work very

well because I don't have a small enough room in my house. It needs

to be at the very least 50 degrees and lots of sunshine. Since MI isn't known

to be the sunniest state, I have to use alternate sources. My dream is to one day

have my very own greenhouse. I was promised a potting shed and I'm still......

Tom's just busy. And speaking of Tom, yesterday he came home with a dozen

roses!! He gave them to me and said, "Would you mind deviding these between

you and the girls?" LOL LOL We laughed so hard...LOL LOL

I really want to thank each and every one of you that responded in a kind and

spiritual way. Brianna and I started a puzzle together last night. I told her

that I've been praying for us to be better friends but I'm her mother first. I

know she feels bad but I can't and won't let her do something that isn't in her

best interest and that's that.

Haven't heard a word from Andrea and Josh today. She doesn't even know

that she has flowers here. I wonder what Josh got her for Valentines Day. I'll

find out soon. She is so thoughtful, in the mailbox on Friday I noticed

there was a card addressed to Kylee for Valentines Day. I think she missed her

as much as I do.

I have to go now, Tom is getting hungry and wants to know when dessert

is done. :)

The Mouse Cont.....

OMG!!!!! That was the first thing she screamed then it was "Daaauuda" with a stomp of her right foot. (She perfected this action at 3 years old) "Did yoooouuuuuu do thiiiiisssa?" We got such a laugh out of her because she always falls for the tricks. Andrea and Josh were here and they thought is was funny too until........Josh said, "Is the mouse trap set?" The room went silent for a moment and we all looked at each other not knowing what to say and Josh asked "Is this a joke?" We looked around again and busted out laughing. Poor Josh said "This is a joke isn't it." Bless his heart, he didn't realize that the joke was on Brianna the whole time. This time it turned out to be on him!!! He's always joking around and has a great sense of humor and we enjoy having him around...................This turned out better than we thought......k

The Mouse

My family likes to play jokes on each other and Tom is at it again. Brianna got a mouse for a biology assignment (he is kinda cute). She dug out the old aquarium, ripped up newspaper, put toilet paper rolls in and fed him. Tom found and old mouse trap in the barn and said "I wonder how Brianna will react when she sees this". She hasn't noticed yet but I'll let you know when she does!!!!!! This is going to be good!!...k
