Learning is a Never Ending Journey

The older I get the more I learn about myself. Even tho I don't want to ever get rid of anything I am learning that the more I hold on to, the harder it is to let go. My relationship with my Mom has always been a strained one and I never understood why. I want everyone to be absolutely certain and without a doubt that I love Mother!!! However, I can only like her as much as she will let me. There's that learning thing...as much as she will let me... She's never been very forgiving, loving, happy or friendly for that matter.

I like being happy!!!! ;o) That's where the learning comes in. I can't live to please someone that doesn't want to be pleased. I have learned to surround myself with people and things that make ME happy.

Forgiveness is not pretending it didn't happen; It is letting go and learning to live freely.

You are so right, Kae. There are those in life who, no matter what you do, they will never be happy. It is a sad thing when people are like this, but you cannot let them destroy your life. Love them, but live your own life, and be HAPPY.
Hugs~

It's just sad when those "people" are your parents. It just doesn't add up sometimes, huh? (((hugs))) I'm happy to hear that you can still be happy despite the opinions of those around you.

I am in the same situation. If my Mom and I get close she will put up walls or say something to hurt me so I want get to close to her. All we can do is try. I do not intend on letting her ruin my life. I will be happy. Thank you for sharing what many of us feel.
Love ya Lisa

I just came across your blog for the first time. Some people do not have the skills to become close to people. They are so afraid that someone will not love them that they are mean to you before you can be mean to them. If they could only see that most people do not want to be mean but want to love. We really have to feel sorry for them but we must not them change your life. Blessings.

Hey Kae, God brought you to mind and I realized I haven't visited in a long time! It's been so busy I've had so little time to read my favorite blogs. So I thought I'd pop over to see what you are up to and see you haven't written since May.

I pray you are well! Love you dear sister!

Yes forgiveness actually frees not the sinner only but the offended as well. As long as one holds onto it the burden will be there....so forgive and let go and be free..

forgiving is when you actually forgotten the feeling you have way back then..but not forget what had happen...
there are times when i ask my self..this was what happened before but the feeling of hurt or disappointment were lost...

truly you have forgiven

and you know what...i don't try to find myself on others...

each is unique in different way..and never change that unique quality of each we encountered along the way.

Bless you...

Relationships with parents can be so difficult. You can't really cut them off and they won't listen to a word you say.

Vampires is not at all like in the movies or books. Sure, I understand. You are young you have the whole world open to you. You can be anything that you choose if you apply yourself and try hard to work toward that goal. But being a Vampire is not what it seems like. It’s a life full of good, and amazing things. We are as human as you are.. It’s not what you are that counts, But how you choose to be. Do you want a life full of interesting things? Do you want to have power and influence over others? To be charming and desirable? To have wealth, health, and longevity, I can help you solve any problem you are having
(1) If you want your ex back.
(2) If you want to stop having bad dreams.
(3) You want to be promoted in your office.
(4) You want women/men to run after you.
(5) If you want a child.
(6) You want to be rich.
(7) You want to tie your husband/wife to be yours forever.
(8) If you need financial assistance.
(9) If you want to stop your divorce.
(10 If you want to divorce your husband.
(11) If you want your wishes to be granted.
