A few weeks ago I got a comment from Jan at Rose Havenhttp://jt-jantom.blogspot.com that I had won a teacup from a drawing that I entered on her sight. Oh how exciting, I signed up every week hoping I would win and telling myself that if I didn't win that would O.K. to. I would just keep signing up every week until I won, doggonit. I didn't have to wait too long and when I saw that I won, well, let's just say I did a little jig until everybody came from all over the house. They were just as excited as I was.
I finally found a place to take a decent picture of it. Because my house has a lot of sunshine which throws off lots of glares in it. The cup and saucer is a pale yellow it didn't show very well. My daughter suggested the pool table which has dark green felt and it worked !!! Thank you Andrea. My husband wants to know if I drink the tea do I drink it from my new teacup?
Since yesterday was a gorgeous day we decided to go for a walk. Tom, Brianna, Nicole(Bri's friend) and me went to Pigeon Creek Park. I had never been there but Tom grew up in this area and knew it very well. The girls have been sledding here and know the park too. I love being outside when the weather is warmer and heaven knows that I need the exercise. We gave the girls the cameras and said, "Go for it." I must say they did a great job. Yep, that's us . I commended Bri on getting my best side...hehehe. Nicole and Brianna have been friends since the kindergarten and this hasn't changed. We love Nicole almost as much as Brianna and it's the same at Nicoles house.
They have turned into a couple of beautiful girls... and we have so many pictures of them together. To get them both to smile at the same time is tricky tho. How do you like Bri's PINK hair ;) ;( :[ ;-o) It's only hair right and she's not any different than any of the rest of us. Never happy with what we have. I did this for her BECAUSE I can then keep it under control. (When she did it herself it was 3 colors.) Ain't life good!!!
Nicole found this birds nest. When she did she yelled, "awwww!!" Brianna came running and said,"aawww!!" Then, all together now----"AAWWWW!!!" These aawww's sound as if we were to see a brand new baby....yeah, sing it. ;) Out of absolutely nowhere Tom came along and kicked it like he was kicking a field goal...Then I sang "aawwwww" that was mean!!! Do they ever grow up? LOL
We had a lot of fun and promised to go back next week.. I'm looking forward to it.......
Blessings to you,
