I just wanted to come and introduce myself and say "Hey" to you. I just discovered you! HA!
I read back through your posts and just want to offer you some encouragement regarding your very pretty daughter. It sounds like you all are taking action and not living in denial...so that is good.
I have FOUR kids myself so I know it's hard. Some kids are easier to raise than others that is forsure! HA!
I have a niece in Iowa right now that we love so much.....and she is putting her PARENTS through so much trauma and drama right now.
It's breaking all of our hearts.
She just flipped her car while drunk two weeks ago...she's fortunate to be alive and it's been a steady decline for her. This is her second offense...and she just turned 18.
You would NEVER imagine that she would be this way....she doesn't look it or come from a family that is messed up but she is in some sort of crisis and won't listen to anyone for help.
I PRAY that God continues to lead you all in what to do and what to say with your beautiful daughter.
Just keep afirming to her how much you love her.
But yes....do set guidelines and
chores don't hurt anyone I say! HA!
Hang in there Mom...your doing the RIGHT things.
I will check back in on you all...
