Andrea, Brianna and I went shopping today and boy did we shop! Brianna had $40.00 left from Christmas and she just couldn't wait to spend it. My Brother sent her some money so she could buy herself some clothes. He also sent her a camera! Uncle Randy is a very nice uncle. He lives in La. and works in the Gulf Of Mexico. He's a pretty nice guy. He sends Andrea and my nephew Adam money every month for college so he wanted to do something especially nice for her. I'd say he came through all right. She bought new jeans and perfume. I got a new sweater for $10 and Andrea got a pretzel. We had a great time. I'm so blessed to have them, they keep me up to date on what's going on in the world.
I made a Pecan Pie tonight for the first time. I hope it comes out good. It's my favorite. Brianna made her favorite too, kosher dills with cream cheese wrapped in a slice of ham. Tom, of course not to be left out made little smokies in BBQ sauce. It's not the best time of day to eat but we were starved.
Andrea and Josh are in GR waiting for the ball to drop!!! She called and said they were having a great time. The bands were ok but the people watching was a blast!
Tomorrow is the New Year-2009-and I hope it's going to be even better that the last. There are some things I personally could stand for a few things to go smoother. I'm sure that God will see to it. He is so good, ya know.......................Kae
