Thoughts of the Weekend

I was just thinking about how blessed me and my family really are. Since we live way far back off the road we don't get any trick-or-treaters. That's ok since I really don't care for Halloween anyway so Tom and I go to the football games and have more fun rootin for our home team. We lost so now we root for the other local teams that have a chance to go to the Pontiac Silverdome. A local team that our friend Mari is from is ranked the No.1 team in the Nation!!! Andrea was home from college and wanted a homecooked meal....beef roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn. Now is that the most starched meal ever, yes but it so good. On Sunday we had dinner at Grandma Potgeter's house, chicken, slaw, mashed potatoes, gravy, a veggie dish, beets, rolls, way too much food...We were celebrating Uncle Dave and Katie(cousin) birthday and Kate wanted Lemonade Pie...I didn't feel all to good but I ate the pie..it's my favorite too. I need to start listing things to do for the day more. I haven't moved much today since I still am not quite feeling the best.....Oh the many things we have to be thankful for.......Blessings, Kae
