Hi Everybody,

This morning I had a visit from a blogging buddy and she helped me figure out some things that I've having trouble with. Sometimes I have forget things I've told that I didn't write down....ok, if I don't write it I always forget...LOL Thank you.
I haven't been feeling good again lately and don't want to move. I had another massage yesterday and she showed me more ways to stretch. The newest stretch is: start on your hands and knees with hip width apart, rock your butt back onto your heels and hold for 5-10secs. While your'e in this position feel your back stretch down your spine. Lower your head for the full stretch. Walk the hands to the left for the spine to open, then walk them to the right and stretch again. Only hold these positions for a few seconds if your'e a beginner and only stretch until you start to hurt. Don't push yourself too far. When she's done I would fall asleep if I wasn't so afraid I'd fall off the table ;}
I've decided to dig deeper into the fibromyalgia world. I'm drinking more teas and eating a better diet of veggies which I love and less red meat which I really don't care for so why do it? I want to get better and feel better so I can enjoy life more. I have young chilren and more grandchildren to look forward to. There's nothing holding me back being more healthy. I came across a quote today that I like a lot.

"Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you want."

Randy Pausch

Another one:

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared
to what lies within us"

Author Unkown

Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart;he is mine forever.
How good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter.
Psalm 73:25-26,28

Those are more good quotes. I hope all that stretching starts to make your back feel better.

sounds like you are doing all the right things to feel better. hang in there! isn't it great to know that what is within us is greater than what surrounds us...so true.

I don't know a lot about fibromylagia except for what friends of mine who suffer from it have told me. If it helps at all, one woman told me of two things she does,
a) she swims
b) she does something whether she feels like it or not

Please don't misunderstand. I am not accusing you of being lazy with that second statement it's just sometimes she says it hurts her too much to feel like doing anything that she will just find at least one thing to do so it doesn't get the best of her. :) I hope that helps you some. I'm sorry to hear you're in such pain.
